Mortgage Protection



Death Benefit


  • Covers death only.
  • Pays out total sum insured as at date of loss provided that premium is in order.

Total & Permanent Disability Benefit


  • Covers disability.
  • Six months waiting period from date of loss

Coverage


  • MPI is offered to groups only

Eligibility


  • Member has attained age 18 but is not over 60 at his late birthday.
  • Not a hospital patient and did not suffer from a medical condition for which he could otherwise have claimed for TPD benefits at entry.

Termination


  • The anniversary of an insured member’s entry date at which he attains or has attained the age of sixty five (65).
  • The anniversary of Insured Member’s Entry Date at which he has completed all installment repayments for his mortgage or full repayment of loan by capital payment.
